EGX 2015 continued the tradition of presenting one of the world largest gaming conventions in September, gracing Birmingham’s NEC for the first time in the process. As in previous years, EGX drew a huge crowd of eager gamers and developers, clambering to try out current and upcoming titles.
More than 75,000 gamers and developers from all over the world attended this year's EGX show.
Aventeq were proud to provide a range of event management services at EGX in order to meet the on site demand for a wealth of multimedia solutions including LED screens, lighting, sound, rigging and stage.
In all, Aventeq provided up to 50 LED screens for the expo including a massive 95" display and an additional set up that included 4, 80" screens flown from a 9 metre truss. Other solutions included set and staging, 60 metres of OV Truss and Rigging, HDMI distribution systems, and Yamaha Digital Audio Mixing Desks.
Aventeq also worked at EGX to provide exhibitors with AV support during the 4 day mega-gaming event which included set, staging, lighting, audio and video support for the Fight Zone stand. Aventeq also provided a customized zoned PA system for this stand.
Other notable areas included product showcase theatres, which featured 5.1 Surround Sound Systems using d&b audio equipment.
